Dr Jackie Mak (MBBS)

Dr Jackie Mak was born in Hong Kong and moved to Australia during teenage years. She graduated at The University of New South Wales in Sydney in 2012 and started her medical career in Perth since then. Prior to GP work, she has pursued a career in general surgery for many years, working at every major hospitals in Perth and having extensive experience in different surgical specialties. She has also worked at different tertiary Emergency Departments in Perth for a few years. Dr Mak is now a proud mother of 2 children and therefore decided to make this transition to work as a GP.  She consults on all aspects of general practice, and has maintained a keen interest in procedures and medical & surgical obesity management, and in particular skin cancer medicine, Implanon insertion and removal and ingrown toenail excision. Dr Mak speaks fluent Cantonese.
