Dr Marzieh Farajian  (MBBS, FRACGP)

Dr Marzieh Farajian was born in Iran. She completed her medical degree at Ahwaz Jondishapour University in 2008. After graduation, she spend many years working in remote setting as General Practitioner, gaining experiences in many aspect of medicine. Her most memorable time and experiences were gained while working in the region of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. She worked in the region since 2015 and became a fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioner in 2020.

Marzieh enjoys the diversity of general practice and she is grateful for the privilege of seeing families across generations. Having spend many years looking after residents in an aged care facilities and also worked as senior Palliative Care medical officer at the Kalgoorlie Hospital, Marzieh maintained her keen interest in Aged Care, Geriatric Medicine, Palliative Care and Pain Management. In addition, she also has special interest in Women’s Health, Child Health, Mental Health, Dermatology, Travel Medicine and Chronic Disease Management. She is competent in skills of minor procedures including Iron Infusion, IUD insertion and removal, Implanon insertion and removal, skin biopsies and skin cancer removal.

Marzieh is fluent in Persian. In her leisure time, she enjoys music, swimming and spending time with family and friends.
